SUNSERI, (Galway, Washington D.C and Cork). On March 23, 2020, peacefully in loving care of St Luke’s Home, Blackrock, Cork, Clare ( née Hendrick) beloved wife of the late Alfred, dear sister of Angela (O'Keeffe) Miriam (Keyes), Philomena (O'Brien) John and Philip. Sadly missed by her sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. In an effort to follow best practice and guidelines with Covid- 19, Clare’s funeral will take place privately. A Mass to celebrate Clare's life will take place at a later date. We thank you for your understanding at this time. " May she Rest in Peace"

Clare was my 3rd grade teacher at Ursuline Academy back in the early 1970's. She also lived in my neighborhood in Kensington, MD..She was a wonderful, kind and great teacher. Thanks to her, my cursive writing is terrific.
