O'CONNOR (née Hernan), Anne (Tonevane Upper Newcastle, Galway and formerly of Liverpool), after a short illness, at the Galway Clinic July 17, 2017. Daughter of the late Mary and Leo Hernan, beloved wife of Derry and much loved mother of Dermot, Paul, Marc, Anne (Keane) and the late Michael; deeply regretted by her husband and children, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, her fifteen grandchildren, extended family and many friends. May she Rest in Peace. Reposing at her home this (Thursday) afternoon from 2.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Removal from her home tomorrow (Friday) morning to St. Ignatius Church, Sea Road, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m. Funeral afterwards to Rahoon Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to Cancer Care West.
