DRENNAN, Fr. Michael, S.J. (Manresa Jesuit Centre of Spirituality) – April 19, 2023 (peacefully), surrounded by his loving family in the tender care of the staff of Cherryfield Lodge Nursing Home, Milltown Park, Dublin. Pre-deceased by his parents Martin and Mary, his brothers Martin (Bishop Emeritus) (Galway, Kilfenora and Kilmacduagh), Willie (Kilkenny) and his sister-in-law Bridget (Piltown). Sadly missed by his beloved brothers John (Dungarvan), Paddy (Dublin) and Jim (Piltown), his sisters-in-law Una and Bernie, nephews Ian and Karol, nieces Hilary and Mary, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, his Jesuit Community, extended family and friends. Reposing at Cherryfield Lodge Nursing Home, Milltown Park on Sunday afternoon (April 23) from 2.00 o’clock to 5.00 o’clock, concluding with prayers at 4.45 o’clock. Removal on Monday morning (April 24) to the Church of St. Francis Xavier, Gardiner Street, arriving for 11.00 o’clock Requiem Mass, with Funeral thereafter to Glasnevin Cemetery.
