HANNIFFY, Dr. Liam MB DPM FRCPsych. (Pine View, Stradbally Road, Portlaoise, Co. Laois and formerly of Creagh, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway) – March 17, 2022; in his 93rd year, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Ann, loving father of John, Ann and Dermot, father-in-law of Sandra and Emily and adoring grandfather of John Óg, Aoife, Elizabeth and Amelia. Dearest brother of Ollie and the late Amelia (Faulkner), Dr. Ignatius (Iggy), Lily (Dillon), Seán, Maureen (Sr. Kieran), Fr. Mannix S.D.B, Fr. Brendan S.M.A., Nancy (Copinger) and Dr. Patricia (Patty). He will be sadly missed by his loving family, nieces, nephews, relatives, former colleagues at St. Fintan’s Hospital, the Midland Health Board and HSE as well as a wide circle of friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at the chapel, St. Fintan’s Hospital, Stradbally Road, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, R32 XEN0, on Saturday, March 19 from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Arriving at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Creagh, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, H53 EH93 on Sunday, March 20th for Requiem Mass at 12.00pm followed by burial afterwards in Creagh Cemetery.
