GREY Alan Frederick (February 10, 2016) - Muriel, Daphne, Peter and Sheena and Alan's sister, Averil Menzies, would like to thank all who attended Alan's Funeral Service on February 15, 2016. Alan had many interests, all represented on the day. The Royal St. George Yacht Club, Rathfarnham Gold Club, Brookfield Lawn Tennis Club, business colleagues from T.D.L. both past and present. Kind donations have been sent to Mercer's Hospital Foundation, another of Alan's interests. I want to thank my three children, daughter-in-law and son-in-law for their constant support, my grandchildren and their partners and great-granddaughter, who made their journeys over, Gianna for her message from New Zealand on the day, Tom for piping Alan on his way. Alan would have loved the whole service. Thanks also to the Reverend John Tanner who conducted it so warmly. To Rose Cleland and her staff in Glengara Park Nursing Home for their kindness and care to Alan and also to me and the family. Particularly my nieces, nephews and cousins for their constant help from the beginning of Alan's illness and up to this day. Thanks to all who called to the house, sent cards, wrote such fine letters and to neighbours old and new. Particular thanks to members of Tullow Parish Church, Carrickmines for their friendship and care during a worrying time. Alan would have been so pleased with the warmth of the day.
