REID Father Alex C.Ss.R. - November 22, 2013, peacefully in St. Vincent's Private Hospital, Dublin. Fr. Alex will be sadly missed by his sisters Maura and Margaret, his brothers-in-law Don and Jim, his aunt Ita, niece and nephews, cousins and extended family, also his close friend Anne, his Redemptorist confreres and many friends. Remains will be reposing at Marianella Chapel, 75 Orwell Road, Dublin 6 today (Saturday) from 2.00pm to 8.00pm and tomorrow (Sunday) from 1.00pm to 8.00pm. Mass on Monday, November 25 in Marianella Chapel at 11.00am with removal to Clonard Church, Belfast. Remains will repose at Clonard Church on Monday next from 4.00pm to 9.00pm and Tuesday, November 26 from 9.00am to 9.00pm. An Ecumenical Service of Gratitude for Fr. Reid's life and ministry will be held in Clonard Church on Tuesday at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 27 at 12 noon in Clonard Church followed by burial in Milltown Cemetery.
