SMYTH (Bandon and Dublin) Aubrey Albert Burchill - April 26, 2012, (peacefully), at Bons Secours Hospital, Cork, following a long illness fought with tremendous courage, loving husband and best friend to Dorothy (née Rennicks), adored Dad of Hilary, Shirley, Sandra, Melanie and Aubrey; sadly missed by his sons-in-law Andrew, Ximo, Adrian, Gary and his daughter-in-law Lorraine, the best grandad in the world to Will, Olly, Meghan, Savana, Stephen, Peter, Sam, Ben, Jessie, Jasmine, Harvey, Adam and Mark, loving brother to Betty, Gordon, Hazel, Eunice, Persis, Norman and the late George, Billy and Joy; sadly missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. A Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate Aubrey's life will be held at Rathgar Methodist Church, Dublin on Tuesday May 1st at 11.30 o'clock Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Irish Cancer Society or Marymount Hospice, Cork. Thank you to his G.P's in Dublin and Cork, The Haematology team at St. Vincent's, CUH and Marymount Hospice. Heartfelt thanks to all at ICU, Bon Secours Cork especially nurses Ann O'Connor and Ger O'Sullivan. "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path"
