TOOHEY Rev. Fr. Seamus C.C. (Late of Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock, Co. Dublin and Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo) - At the First Anniversary of Fr. Seamus's death, October 16, 2014, his nieces Marie, Annette, Noreen and Marguerite, nephew Rory, cousin Mai Treacy, devoted housekeeper Mai, grandnieces, grandnephews and family want to thank all those parishioners and friends who attended the removal, Requiem Mass, funeral and who supported and sympathised with us in our loss of Fr. Seamus. We are very grateful to all who sent Mass cards, enrolments, letters of condolence, flowers and prayed for him, which were a great comfort to us. We would like especially thank the Archbishop of Dublin, Most Reverend Diarmuid Martin, Very Rev Fr. J. Anthony Gaughan, Very Rev. Fr. Dermot Leycock, Rev. Fr. William Fortune and fellow priests for the wonderful ceremonies celebrating Fr. Seamus's long life, especially his sixty years as priest of the Dublin Diocese. Special thanks also to the Choir of the Church of the Guardian Angels for the lovely music. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust that you will accept this as notice of our sincere appreciation. The Anniversary Mass for Fr. Seamus will be held at the Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock at 9.30am on Sunday, October 18, 2015.
