DUNNE, Tom (Emeritus Professor of History, UCC) (Greystones, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Montenotte, Co. Cork and New Ross, Co. Wexford) – April 15, 2025, following a short illness. Much loved by his wife Clare O’Halloran, daughters Fiona and Deirdre, sons Oisín and Fergus, grandson Seán, siblings Mary (Quigley), John, Joan (Estall), Rosaleen and Arthur, and by his in-laws and friends. A Humanist Service will take place on Wednesday (April 23) at 12.00 noon in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, Co. Wicklow, followed by a private burial.
