WARD, John Francis (Seán), (Prospect, Athenry and formerly of the Agricultural College, Athenry; also, Ballsbridge, Dublin and Dunleer, Co. Louth), October 19, 2017, (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Castleturvin Nursing Home, Athenry, surrounded by his devoted wife and family. Seán, dearly beloved husband of Margaret (Peggy) and the late Moira. Predeceased by his children Mary and Tom. Loving father to Joseph, Shane, Anne, Niamh, Chanel and Brendan. Father-in-law to Bernard, Danny, Alice, Andrea and Anita. Sadly missed by his 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and circle of friends. Reposing at Gardner's Funeral Home, Athenry today (Saturday) October 21 from 6pm to 8pm. Removal tomorrow (Sunday) morning from his home for 1pm Requiem Mass at The Church of the Assumption, Athenry.
