O'CONNOR, Tom (Dr. Thomas C) (Gort Ard, Rockbarton North, Salthill, Galway) - November 6, 2012 (peacefully) after a short illness at University Hospital, Galway; son of the late Patrick and Nancy of Sallins Road, Naas, predeceased by his brothers Joe and Paddy and sister Mary; Deeply regretted and sadly missed by the Regional Vicar of Opus Dei, Fr. Justin Gillespie, sister-in-law Shelia, nieces, Miriam O'Flaherty, Darina Friel, Mary Moran and Martine Hill, nephews Gerard, Ray, Des and Frank, grandnieces and grandnephews, many friends, colleagues in the Physics Department NUI, Galway and in the scientific community generally. Reposing in the oratory at Gort Ard University Residence today (Wednesday) from 11am until Removal on Thursday to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon cemetery.Rest In Peace
