DUDLEY (Missionaries of the Sacred Heart) - April 9, 2016, (peacefully), in San Antonio, Texas, Fr. James; he is survived by his niece Geraldine, nephews Joe and Gerard, grandnephews Conor and Eoin, grandniece Aisling, cousins, his MSC Community and many dear friends. Funeral took place on April 12, 2016 in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, San Antonio, Texas, USA. Memorial Mass will take place on Sunday May 8, 2016 in the Sacred Heart Church, Western Road, Cork at 2.30pm."May he rest in peace".

I will always remember Father Dudley. He taught me when I was a boy that I could eat chicken so long as it was the white meat on Good Friday and shared a piece of chicken with me. I had my first communion with him.
