LOFTUS - Sharon Collen Loftus, aged 85, Chicago and formerly Dublin, Germany, Miami, New York, and Woodstock, IL) passed away peacefully at home in Chicago, September 26, 2021. Beloved wife of forty-eight years to John J. Loftus; faithful companion of Bryn the Cairn Terrier. Preceded in death by mother Agnes Collen, sister Mary Lynn (the late James) Covey, and many canine friends. Sharon was a longtime employee of Lyric Opera of Chicago's Rehearsal Department, tending to the needs of the artists. Memorial Mass was held in Chicago.
