RINGROSE, Colonel William (Billy), (Whitethorn Road, Clonskeagh, Dublin 14). April 29, 2020, in his 90th year, Former CO of the Irish Army Equitation School. Peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff at Belmont House Care Home. Predeceased by his beloved wife Joan (O’Malley), his sons Paul and John and his brother Ronald. Billy, beloved father of Fergal. Deeply regretted by his daughters-in-law Charlie (Bateman) and Lucy (Freeman), grandson Conor, siblings Clare, Des and Dolores, nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends. In accordance with Government directives and in the interest of public health, private funeral Mass will take place on Saturday. A memorial service to celebrate Billy’s life will be held at a later date. Family flowers only please. Please use the online Condolence link to offer the family your sympathies. Billy was a great friend and mentor to my son & I. He taught us so much about horse riding and do it properly. He was always so patient and persistent to achieve the desired result. May he & Joan, Paul & John Rest in Peace. Edward Garry
