VERJANS, Anthony (died November 11, 2010) - On the first anniversary of his death, Tony's wife Margaret and children would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on the sad occasion, attended the funeral Mass, sent cards and letters, and travelled long distances to be with us. We would like to thank our extended family, friends, ex colleagues and neighbours for their help and support at this time. A very special word of thanks to Tony's cousins Roger, Alice and Lies who travelled from Belgium to attend the funeral and support us. Thanks also to Monsignor Peter Briscoe for capturing Tony's character so well at the funeral service. Thanks to the family GP, Dr John McGuinness and the staff of Beaumont and Mater Private Hospitals who cared for Tony during his last days. Mass has been offered for your intentions.
