LEONARD, (née Griffin), Catherine, (Clontarf, Dublin 3, formerly of Gurteen, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway). March 23, 2020. Predeceased by her beloved husband Pádhraic. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Niamh, who was with her at the end, and by her son Niall; daughter-in-law Marie-Laurence; grandchildren Sophia, Alexander, Nicholas and Vassilissa; sisters Clare, Pam, Pearl and Gabrielle; nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends, as well as by her many former students at St John the Baptist Infant Girls’ School in Clontarf. She taught a lot of little girls to read, and loved them all. Burial in Clonkeenkerrill Cemetery, Gurteen. A Memorial Mass will take place at a later date. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs, 22:6
