SMITH, Bridie (née Baker) (Clontarf and formerly of Mitchelstown) - January 16, 2017, (peacefully), in her 98th year, in the gentle care of the staff of St. Gabriel's Nursing Home, beloved wife of the late Tom Smith; she will be fondly missed by her children Brendan, Mary, Vonnie and Nuala, sons-in-law Paul and Butch, grandchildren Jan, Matt, Eoin, Sinead, Aisling, Ciara, Niall, Orla, Ruth, Sorcha and Cian, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grand nephews and extended family. Rest in Peace. Reposing at The Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand today (Wednesday) with family in attendance from 5 o'c until 7 o'clock Requiem Mass tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 10 o'c in St. Gabriel's Church, Dollymount. Funeral thereafter to Glasnevin Cemetery.
