McCARTHY, Barry, (Rathmines and formerly Small Heath, Birmingham), September 5, 2017, (peacefully) at Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross, following an illness borne with courage and good humour. Beloved husband of Margie (née Sheanon) and dearly loved dad of Packie, Jack, Alice and Charlie. He will be greatly missed by his family, his loving brothers and sisters, Florence, Tina, Mary, Charlie, Owen, Justin, Paul and Jane, his mother-in-law Kitty, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing today (Thursday) at his home from 5.00pm until 7.00pm. Removal tomorrow (Friday) to Church of Mary Immaculate Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines, arriving at 9.50am for Requiem Mass at 10.00am followed by cremation at Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross. No flowers please, donations if desired to Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association or Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross.
