LEECH - (née Daly) Annie Teresa (Clonskeagh, Dublin, formerly of Shepperton Park, Skibbereen and Leech’s Pharmacy, 43 Ranelagh, Dublin). On the first anniversary of Annie’s death, John, Miriam, Anne and Monika Leech extend sincere gratitude to everyone who expressed condolences and supported us following the death of our beloved mother. To all who attended Annie’s removal, celebrated Annie’s life at her funeral Mass in person/on-line, sent cards, Mass cards, messages of sympathy and flowers, we are forever grateful for your support. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all her extraordinary carers at home over the last nine years of her life, in particular Maria Jaco and Plaxi Mukototsi. Thank you to the staff of St. Paul’s Ward, in St. Vincent’s University Hospital who cared for Annie with such compassion and dignity during the last week of her long life. A very special thank you to Monsignor Ciarán O’Carroll who celebrated Annie’s funeral Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Donnybrook and to Rev. Anne-Marie O’Farrell and Liam Ó’Maonlaí for their wonderful music. A Mass will be offered in grateful appreciation of all the kindnesses received.
