ADAMS, Marie Edwina (née Rainsford), peacefully, in Portumna, Co. Galway, on Sunday, January 17, 2010 in her 99th year, beloved widow of Barney, fondly remembered by her four children and their partners (Bernard and Mona, Michael and Else, Mark and Else, Ruth and Frank) and her eight grandchildren. Her thirteen great-grandchildren currently live in Ireland, England, Denmark, Sweden, Australia and Syria. Compassionately cared for by the staff of the Holy Family Nursing Home in Killimor and Portumna Retirement Village. She bequeathed her body to Trinity College, Dublin for medical research. Memorial Service in Rathfarnham (Church of Ireland) Parish Church on Saturday, February 27 at 11 a.m.
