MURPHY Dr. Desmond December 20, 2017, (Geesthacht, Germany and formerly Kilmacud, Co. Dublin). Following a short illness, hard fought. Deeply missed by his wife Rachel, sons Pierce and Lawrence and their partners Julia and Jana; sister Madeleine, brother Robert; brothers-in-law Finbarr, Jonathan and partner Mariusz, sisters-in-law Grainne and Felicity and husband Gordon; nephews Barry, Ciaran, Niall, Cailean and Arran, niece Harriet, nieces-in-law Jackie and Eve, aunt Dorothy, cousins, grandnieces, grandnephew, extended family and friends. Funeral has taken place in Geesthact, Germany, where his remains have been interred.
