BENNER, Roland Edward OBE (formerly of Malone Park, Belfast) August 23, 2020, peacefully after a short illness at the Blackrock Clinic; beloved husband of Emer, loving father of Nicole (Murphy), Leisa (McFadden), Tanya (McHugh) and Jonathan and son of the late Frank and Gertrude Benner. Roland led a long, healthy and happy life, always a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law, Papa and friend. He will be sorely missed by his family, his sons-in-law Kieran, Niall and David, his daughter-in-law, Jane, his twelve grandchildren, Richard, Andrew, Tanya, Joshua, Kaya, Benjamin, Alex, Sebastian, Lulu, Emma, Sam and Harry and his many friends. May he Rest in Peace. Our family send their love and appreciation to every person who made a difference to Roland’s final days in Blackrock Clinic. Due to government restrictions there will be a private family funeral taking place at this time.
