HARMON, (née Lynch) Maura (Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin and formerly of Limerick City) July 4, 2025. Peacefully at home in her 102nd year with her family. We would like to thank her wonderful team of carers especially Vinnie who was with her for 20 years and her GP Dr. Patrick Feeney. Dearly beloved wife and best friend of the late Prof. Maurice and loving Mum to Maura and Diarmaid. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, son, her cherished grandchildren Joanna, Jacqueline, Patrick, Joshua and Gideon, great-grandchildren Nathan, Ashley and Lily, great-great-grandchildren Jackson and Olive, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Maura will be reposing tomorrow (Tuesday) from 5pm to 7pm in Fanagans (Carnegies) Funeral Home, Monkstown, A94XK28. Funeral Mass at 10am on Wednesday (July 9) in the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion followed by burial in S.S. Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Balbriggan. For those who cannot attend, the Mass can be viewed online using the link from the Church webcam. Messages of sympathy for Maura’s family can be left in the condolence section on RIP. No flowers please. Donations, in lieu of flowers to UNICEF. Rest in peace.
