McCAFFERTY Dr. Donal, (Mount Merrion and Derry) October 31, 2018. Bróna and Niamh together with Donal's sisters, Patricia and Evelyn, wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to all of you who have been so supportive of us during the past difficult year. We wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us by friends, neighbours and colleagues at the time of Donal's death. Our sincere thanks to all of you who came in such numbers to be with us, many travelling long distances. Grateful thanks also to the hundreds of people who took time to write to us including many loyal patients who wrote of their appreciation of Donal's professional expertise and compassion. We greatly appreciate the excellent care given to Donal by the consultants and medical staff of St. Vincent's Private Hospital and The Blackrock Hospice and the medical experts who provided such gentle care for him at home. We thank our wonderful family and close friends who continue to support us so tirelessly. Donal is remembered with love by so many of us every day. Mass for Donal will be celebrated in the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion, this, Saturday evening (November 2) at 6.00pm.Ár mbuíochas ó chroí libh go léir.

We sincerely regret the passing of Dr McCafferty. He looked after our family, and particularly our late father, with professionalism and compassion, for which we remain most grateful. Sincere condolences from The Furlongs (ex-Roebuck Road)
