O'MAHONY - Eileen (née Duffy), On the occasion of Eileen’s First Anniversary on June 29, her daughters Niamh and Grainne would like to thank our relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues who showed great kindness and support to us.

We were humbled and greatly comforted by the number of Mass Cards, Sympathy Cards, letters and flowers we received. We would like to thank all those in the Medical Profession who took such great care of Mam, Dr. Aidan Fox, Mr. Peter Keogh, Dr. Pauline Diamond. Mam spent the last seven months of her life in Marian House Nursing Home and because of Covid, Paula Phillips, Sadie Tierney, the Staff and Holy Faith Sisters became her adoptive family and for this we were very grateful. Congratulations to them for being Covid free throughout the pandemic. Thanks to Sheila Wallace, Phyllis Breslin and the Camogie Association for presenting and draping the flag on Mam’s coffin for her final journey. She would have been so proud. We were delighted that so many joined us through the Webcam for Mam’s Funeral Mass. We are grateful to Fr. Martin Hogan for his support of Mam and also for celebrating her Funeral Mass.

In gratitude, Mass will be offered for your intentions at Knock Shrine, the last place Eileen visited before her Final Illness.
