LEONARD, Eamonn (Maryfield Nursing Home, Chapelizod and formerly of Ranelagh and Glasnevin) - February 17, 2023, peacefully at Maryfield. Beloved husband of the late Patricia, loving father of David. Mourned by David and Cuong; the Leonard and Miller family: Kieran, Veronica, Cora (Free), Terry, Rosemary, Una; Richard, Grace-Ann, Hugh, Maurice; Barbara, John, Vee; Liz, Jane, Sara, Mark; Gerard, Darragh, Liagh; Alison, Jennifer, Sarah, and their families; the broader S.M.G. community and staff at Maryfield. Predeceased by parents Maurice and Kathleen, siblings Mairead S.M.G., Eithne S.M.G., Gerard, Maurice, Nuala and Theresa. Long career in the fashion industry, a fixture of Irish tennis and badminton, esp. at Bective and Mt Pleasant clubs. Reposing this (Monday) evening, from 4pm to 7pm, at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, 1-3 Dolphin’s Barn, SCR, D08 N2X7. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10am, at Maryfield Nursing Home Chapel, Lucan Road, D20 WC8, followed by cremation at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, D6W HY98. For those unable to attend, the Mass may be viewed live at https://churchmedia.tv/chapelzoid and the cremation prayers at 12:15 approx. at https://www.mountjerome.ie/victorian-chapel-service/. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Eamonn’s memory. “May he rest in peace”
