FOGARTY, John (Seán) - The family of the late John Fogarty of Ballinteer (formerly of Donnybrook and C.I.E. Inchicore) who died September 12, 2017, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. We wish to thank most sincerely our many relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues who called to the house or attended the funeral home or funeral mass - some of whom travelled long distances to do so. To those who donated to Médecins Sans Frontières, Kildare Animal Foundation Wildlife Unit or other charities in John's memory, we are extremely grateful for your generosity. To all who sent sympathy cards or messages of condolence, we are very grateful for your support. We are comforted by your memories of him as a kind and decent, funny, smiling man. He will always be loved and remembered that way. A special word of thanks to the staff of Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum; to Fr Liam Belton and Deacon Noel Ryan who cared for us so well during this difficult time; to Brenda Malloy, harpist, for her beautiful music at John's funeral Mass; and to all who otherwise participated in the Mass. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. "May you have great dignity,
may you have a sense of
how free you are,
And above all, may you be given
the wonderful gift of
meeting the eternal light"
from Anam Cara,
