MEAGHER, Gerard Paul (Cabinteely, Dublin 18) 25th June 2020 (peacefully) aged 93 years. In the presence of loving family and staff at Blainroe Lodge Nursing Home, Co. Wicklow. Beloved husband of the late Eithne (née Foley). Brother to late siblings Noreen Robinson, Barry Meagher and Oliver Meagher. Much-loved father of Fionnuala, Diarmuid and Ciaran and cherished by son-in-law Bernard, daughter-in-law Niamh, and Diarmuid’s partner, Gretchen. Deeply missed by his grandchildren and their partners in Ireland and the US: Nicolaus and Maggie, Caegan, Katie and Leo, Carissa and Josh, Aaron, Simon, and Lucy; and by great-grandchildren Noah, Nathan, Marissa, Sonny and Thomas. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, neighbours and golf pals. The Meagher family would also like to acknowledge the many customers, business associates and employees from Gerry’s years as proprietor of Duro Ltd. Sandycove, Co. Dublin.
