A sincere thank you to the Irish Athletic Boxing Association, the boxing fraternity and friends who brought many happy memories and stories of Harry to us at the sad time of his passing. We thank the Captains, President and members of Delgany Golf Club where Harry spent many happy times with Ann and their friends. A sincere thank you to the staff of Le Brun House in Clonskeagh, who cared so well for Harry for many years during his illness and for this we are truly grateful.
As Harry’s funeral took place under Covid restrictions numbers at the funeral were strictly limited to family. We thank the hundreds of people who tuned in online to join the service to celebrate Harry’s life and wished him well on his final journey. We also thank all those who sent mass cards, letters, photographs, text messages, those who left messages on rip.ie and the many people who contacted us by phone. Harry was one of life’s gentlemen and he will be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved him.
