KELLY John Francis (Portland and late Blackrock) - April 13, 2013, surrounded by his family after a long illness bravely borne. John left this world and went gently into the night after losing his five year battle with cancer. Although he emigrated to the US in 1989, his love of Ireland never wavered. John is survived by his wife Georgann; children Emma and Eoghan; step children Nicole and Jon Paul; and siblings Elaine, Jim, Sheelagh and Blonny. John was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. A special Mass will be celebrated for John in St John of God Hospital on May 19 at 10am.
