KILROY - James (late of “Knockaroo”, Ballymahon Road, Athlone)
On James’ First Anniversary which falls on the 24th of March 24, 2022, his wife Maureen and children Niamh, James, Emer and Treasa along with their families, wish to express their sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on the death of our wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Thank you to Fr. Padraig for making James’ funeral Mass so personal and uplifting and to Bernard and Patrice Coyle, accompanied beautifully by Niamh, Hannah, Emily, Alice and Tom, for their wonderful music. The family appreciates the support and professionalism provided by
Arlene in O’Neill’s Undertakers. Thank you very much for the care provided to James by Dr. Mark McCormick and his staff for many years, and the excellent care provided to James by the Doctors and Nurses in Porticuncula Hospital during his short stay there. Thanks also to our pharmacist Paul
Cunningham and his staff for their service and kindness. A special word of thanks to those who paid tribute to James in lining the road outside our house to bid him farewell to St. Mary’s church and onward to Cornamagh Cemetery. To everyone who helped in so many ways your contributions are very much appreciated. The family will always appreciate the kindness, thoughtfulness and ongoing support of all their extended family, neighbours, relatives and friends during this past year, for their expressions of sympathy for their love and kindness, for all the Mass cards, letters, flowers and other gifts received. We carry on with the fortitude and in the knowledge that we had an amazing husband, father and grandfather who led a long and happy life. Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Those we love don’t go away
they walk with us every day.
