FORBES, Maura (née Morgan) (Clontarf, Blackbanks, Raheny and Glinsk East, Galway), widow of Michael J. - The family of the late Maura Forbes who died on December 12, 2017, would like to express appreciation and deep gratitude to all who sent kind messages, cards and letters of sympathy. We were particularly touched by those who made it to the removal and the funeral on those cold days in December. We know your time is precious. Maura spent her last three years in the loving care of the staff of St. Gabriel's Nursing Home, Raheny. We owe them a debt of gratitude. We also greatly appreciate relatives and friends who visited her at St. Gabriel's during those years. We would like to thank Fr. Pat McManus and St. Gabriel's Church, Clontarf. Fr. Pat was a great comfort and support to Maura in her latter years. During their lives, our parents, Maura and Michael were privileged to have had the most wonderful neighbours and friends. We would like to pay tribute to all of them at this closing of a chapter and the end of a generation.Along the cool sequestered
