X HUGHES Most Reverend William A. D.D. formerly Bishop of Covington, aged 91, born September 23, 1921 passed away on February 7, 2013 at Carmel Manor Nursing Home in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, son of the late James and Anna (née Philbin) Hughes. (James was a native of Moore Hall, Ballyglass, Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo). He is survived by his sister, Patricia Brown his many nieces, nephews and friends. Reception will be at 12:00 pm tomorrow (Thursday) at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, Covington, KY with visitation following until 7:00 pm. There will be a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Friday, at 9:00 am with Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption. Following Mass there will be a reception at the Covington Latin School. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky.
