JOHNSTON - (née Maguire) Margaret (Galway and Dublin) (December 13, 2019). On Margaret's first anniversary her husband Andy and son Andrew, together with her sisters Elizabeth and Helen and brother John, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins, fondly recall and celebrate her memory. We thank all the many friends, neighbours and carers who were such a support in her final years and illness; the staffs of UHG, Bon Secours and the Galway Hospice; Helen, Charles, Katie and other carers; Drs Cashman, Mullane and Waldron and the many wonderful nurses and medical support staff; Holy Family Church in Mervue, Mount Jerome Cemetery and O'Flahertys Funeral Directors; Mary Murphy and Tom McCann; Natasha Tighe, Niall Coakley, Christopher Ellis. We thank all the many friends, neighbours and former colleagues who expressed their sympathy, support and fondness in so many ways. Margaret's fine spirit will always brighten the lives of those who knew and loved her.
Thanks to the human heart
by which we live,
Thanks to its tenderness,
its joys, and fears,
To me the meanest flower
that blows can give
Thoughts that do often lie
too deep for tears.
