DOLAN, The death has occurred of Gerard L. (Gerry) Dolan, Wilmer Road, Birr, Co. Offaly, December 28, 2023, peacefully, at the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore, in his 92nd year. Choirmaster at St. Brendan’s R.C. Church, Birr. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Bridget, his brother Joseph and his nephew Robert. Sadly missed by his brothers Brendan and Gabriel, sister Mary, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephews and nieces, cousins and many friends. May his kind and gentle soul Rest in Peace. Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home in Birr (R42YF75) on Saturday from 3 – 5.30pm, arriving at 6pm to St. Brendan’s RC Church. Funeral Mass in St. Brendan’s Church on Sunday at 12 noon followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, to St. Vincent de Paul. House private, please.
