GILLIGAN, PETER

GILLIGAN - Peter, late of Blackrock, Co. Dublin (8 July 2024). It is hard to believe a year has passed, but we - his beloved wife, Julie, and his proud children, David and Ruth - remember Peter with such intense love. We are sincerely grateful to all who have, even through their own grief, rallied and shown support in the last year, especially Catherine, Martin and Gemma Holohan, Mary and Paul Gilligan and all our extended family and friends. We would like to thank all those who came to the house and to his funeral. Thank you also to those who sent Mass cards and messages etc. From the corridors of Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club, the Vincent de Paul, to the coffee shops of Main Street Blackrock, Peter's absence is keenly felt, though the joyous memories - and the excellent hat collection - live on. We were truly lucky to have known him and to share time with him. Peter's anniversary will be celebrated on Sunday July 13, in the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown at 11.00 Mass.
