CASSIDY, Dr. Ciarán (Ballyedmonduff, Stepaside, Dublin 18 and formerly of Midfield, Swinford, Co. Mayo) - 9th July, 2022, peacefully, in the loving care of his family and the staff at Belmont House Nursing Home. Darling husband of Gene (née O’Sullivan) and adoring father of Ciara, Rose, John (Fran), Eugene, Everina, Ciarán and Lisa. Much loved father-in-law to Scott, Stephen, Emer, Evelyn, Jonathan, Clair and John. Treasured and beloved grandfather to his 19 grandchildren - Matthew, Aidan, Aoibh, Lexi, Grace, Aisling, Clíona, Michael, Laura, Isabelle, Ella, Eoghan, Dara, Harry, Darcey, Louis, Lizzie, Jennifer and Julia Rose. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters - Phil, Fr. Peadar, John, Alice, Pat, Sr. Justin (Sadie), Marietta, Canon Michael, Monsignor Martin and Mary (Gaughan). So sadly missed by his extended family, including many nieces and nephews and also by his wide circle of friends. Reposing at his family home in Stepaside today, (Monday 11th July) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow, (Tuesday 12th July) at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybroook, followed by burial at St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery, Glencullen. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann.
