CARROLL - The death has occurred of Dr Jimmy Carroll. ('Rockmount', Shercock Road, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan and formerly Drogheda, Co. Louth). Peacefully at the Mater Private Hospital, Dublin. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his beloved wife Arlene, his brothers Colman, Desmond and Tony and his sister Sandra (Stringer), his sister-in-law Carmel, brothers-in-law Mal and Zach, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

MAY HE REST IN PEACE. Dr Jimmy will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Main Street, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan among family and friends, on Friday, August 20, from 4pm until 8pm. In accordance with current guidelines Dr Jimmy's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family and close friends (limited to 50) on Saturday, August 21, at 1pm in St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Carrickmacross. There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects by lining the route, in a socially distanced manner, as Dr Jimmy's funeral cortège leaves Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home on Saturday at 12:45pm proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church.
