COCKBURN Donald (Don) (Mount Merrion, formerly of RTE) September 4, 2017; (peacefully) surrounded by his family, after a short illness at St. Vincent's University Hospital; beloved husband of the late Marie and loving father of Evelyn and John; very sadly missed by his family, son-in-law Oliver, daughter-in-law Debbie, grandchildren Johnny, Daniel, Zoë, Alanna, Sadhbha, and Ella, cousins Robert and Ian, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home this (Wednesday) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 10.00am in the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion followed by burial at Deansgrange Cemetery."What will survive of us is love"

Beryl Stone. Don was a wonderfull man and broadcaster. I am a former RTE member of staff, and often chatted to him at meal times. I will always remember. Beryl.
