KEOGH, Patrick (Brigadier General retired) (50 Rockbarton Park, Salthill, Galway) - 27th March, 2019, (peacefully), beloved husband of Carmel and much loved father of Orla, Cathal, Caimin and Shane. Sadly missed by his wife, daughter and sons, sisters Siobhan, Marguerite, Carmel and Colette, brother Eamon, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, extended family and friends. Reposing at his home today (Friday) from 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Removal tomorrow (Saturday) to Christ the King Church, Salthill to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m. Funeral afterwards to Rahoon cemetery. House private on Saturday morning. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Galway Parkinsons Association. 'Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis'
KEOGH Patrick, (Late of Rockbarton Park, Galway and formerly of Tiaquin, Co. Galway) Passed away peacefully on March 27, 2019. In loving memory of Brig. Gen. Pat, deeply beloved, always remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife Carmel, daughter Orla, sons Cathal, Caimin and Shane, his daughters-in-law, son-in-law and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his surviving brother (Eamon), sisters Siobhán, Marguerite, Carmel and Colette, and extended family, friends and neighbours. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all who attended Pat's funeral and who sent Mass cards, letters, and much appreciated food and flowers. Sincere appreciation also to the Defence Forces (Lt. Col. Gary McKeown andChaplain Fr. Paul Murphy), to Fr. Gerry Jennings and Fr. Joe Keogh (since deceased); to Pat and Jackie Lillis and the Piggott trio for the music; to all the medical staff who cared for Pat - Dr's. Kilian Walsh, Karena Meehan and Tim Counihan and in particular Paddy Browne; to Marie, Caroline and all at Galway Parkinsons Society. Finally, a special word of thanks to all Pat's carers at home, especially John, Golda, Eva and Nancy. Due to the current crisis in our State, a memorial mass will be arranged at some future date at which the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for everyone's intentions.
