EDWARDS, James (Jim) Galway, Rathfarnham and Blessington - June 27, 2010 (peacefully), to the inexpressible grief and sadness of all who knew him. Dearest husband of Rose, loving father of Brian, Edel and Owen, his sisters Isabel and Ailish, daughter-in-law Orlaith, darling grandaughter Laura, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, friends and neighbours. May he rest in peace. Removal to the Church of Our Lady, Blessington for 11 o'c Funeral Mass today (Tuesday). Burial afterwards in Burgage Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers to be made to The Irish Cancer Society.
EDWARDS, James (Jim) Blessington, Co. Wicklow. June 27, 2010. On this Jim's First Anniversary, Jim's wife Rose and family, Brian, Edel and Owen, his sisters Isabel and Ailish thank you most sincerely for your gentle sympathy and practical kindness at the time of Jim's passing. To our family, friends, relatives and neighbours, all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and called to the house. We greatly appreciated the many clergy who attended the funeral, Fr. Tim Murphy PP, Blessington for his kindness. Special thank you to Dr. Brendan O'Brien, Dr. Andrina O'Brien for their attentiveness during Jim's illness. The staff of the Day Oncology Ward, Tallaght Hospital for their dedicated care, the nurses of Blessington Health Centre and Clarke's Funeral Directors, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
