HOLDEN (Dublin) - April 4, 2005 (suddenly and peacefully after a long illness), Desmond, late of Blackrock, beloved husband of Joan (née Bastable), and father of Mary, John, Patricia and Catherine; deeply regretted by his loving family, sons-in-law, daughter-in- law, grandchildren, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and wonderful neighbours. Most grateful thanks to the staff of St Vincent's University Hospital and the Community Care Team for all their kindness to Des throughout his illness. May he rest in peace. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) from Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown to the Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock arriving at 5.30 o'clock Funeral on Friday morning after 10 o'clock Mass to Shanganagh Cemetery.
