ARTHUR,, Jim (James) Artane, Dublin, formerly of Darragh, Co Clare. (Ex Valuation Office), 10th December 2020, (peacefully) at home in his 98th year in the loving care of his family and his dedicated carers, especially Ali Garcia. Beloved and loving husband of the late Sally (Sarah Kavanagh) and Great Granddad of the late Baby Thomas (Latimer). Adored Dad of Maire, Seamus, Michael, Niamh, Colum, Brian and Deirdre. Sorely missed by his loving family, sister Cissie Collins, brothers in law Liam Power, Sean Kavanagh, sister in law Aine Kavanagh, daughters in law Tina (Mangan), Bernadette (Morrissey), Edel (Kelly), Ruth (Johnson), son in law Nigel (Jarrett), Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Devoted lifetime volunteer with St Vincent de Paul, founding and lifelong member of Craobh Chiarain GAA. Rest in Peace. Due to current / HSE Government restrictions regarding public gatherings a private funeral will take place privately. Tom Dilleen. Waterford , formerly Quin, Co Clare. Worked in Dublin 1959–1966.​Played with Craoabh Ciarain during that period and won Dublin county junior championship (I forget the year) Knew Jim well and very sorry to hear of his passing.
