WHELAN S.C., Noel, (Ranelagh, Dublin and formerly of Ballycullane, New Ross, Co. Wexford) who passed away peacefully on July 10, 2019 after a short illness in the care of the heroic staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of Sinéad and adoring father of Séamus, son of the late Seamus Whelan and brother of the late Mary Kelly. Loved and missed by his wife, son, mother Myra, his siblings John, Joy, Thomas, James, Annette, Michael, Patrick, Paul, Kevin and Eamon, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and his wide circle of friends, colleagues and fellow citizens. There will be a gathering of family on Friends on Friday afternoon from 4.00 o’c until 6.00 o’c at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum. Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of the Holy Name, Beechwood Avenue, Ranelagh arriving for Funeral Mass at 12.00 o’c noon and then to Ballycullane Cemetery, New Ross, Co. Wexford arriving at 5.00pm. Family flowers only please. “Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis”
