O'CONNOR, Very Reverend Canon Erill (former Parish Priest of Corpus Christi Parish, Drumcondra, Dublin) April 29, 2021 peacefully (in his 99th year) at Sacred Heart Residence, Sybil Hill, Raheny in the loving care of the Little Sisters of the Poor and their dedicated nursing and care staff; pre-deceased by his brothers Shane (Mullingar) and Enda (Dublin), his sisters Maeve (Mullingar) and Nuala Hunt (Athlone). Sadly missed by his sister Grainne Houlihan (Ennis) and his brother Rory (Dublin), nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, great-grandnephews and great-grandnieces and by His Grace Dr. Dermot Farrell, Archbishop of Dublin, members of the Diocesan Chapter, his brother priests of the Archdiocese of Dublin, the Reverend Mother and Sisters of the Community of the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity, High Park, Drumcondra and his lifelong-friends in the many parishes in which he served during his lengthy and dedicated priesthood. Removal on Tuesday morning to The Church of Corpus Christi, Home Farm Road arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am (which can be viewed on the parish website) with burial afterward at Dardistown Cemetery, Collinstown, Dublin. Family Flowers only please. In accordance with Government guidelines on public gatherings the numbers attending the obsequies will be restricted to 25.
