CHALLONER John (Bray, Co. Wicklow and Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny) - John's wife Patricia and family would like to thank all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss. To those who called to the house, telephoned, attended The removal, funeral Mass and burial, those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, Everlasting Gift cards, flowers and those who travelled long distances to be with us. Thank you to all who gave donations to the Cancer Society in John's memory. To the Legion of Mary and the Care to Drive Volunteers. Thank you to Dr. Gerard Connaghan and the nurses and doctors in St. Vincent's University and Private Hospitals who cared for John during his long illness. Special thanks to Fr. Joseph Whelan P.P. and Fr. Yusuf Bamai, and Joe Bollard with the choir. A very special thanks to Patricia's sister Thérése who brought John regularly to places he loved to visit. Her ongoing support and love is appreciated very much and to Ed who brought John on his monthly trip to Santry. To all our wonderful families, friends and neighbours, Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Directors for their kindness and professionalism, and the gravediggers. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. John's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 4th. 2014 at 6.30pm in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church Bray.
