DOWNEY (nee Ryan), Carmel (Monkstown, Co Dublin and formerly Westgate, Thurles, Co Tipperary) - March 18, 2016, peacefully in the wonderful care of St Vincent's Private Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Ted, children John, Mary (Tuck), Elizabeth (Lorton), Deirdre (Doyle) and Tim, her sister, brothers as well as her 11 grandchildren and her great-grandson (Cian). Also her daughters-in-law, sons-in-law and grandson-in-law. Reposing at home today (Saturday) from 5pm to 8pm. Sunday House Private. Removal to St Patrick's Church, Monkstown on Monday for 12.30 Mass with burial afterwards in Shanganagh Cemetery. May she Rest in Peace.
