McCAFFREY Daniel B (Dan) (late of Foxrock, Dublin and Stradone, Cavan ex-Garda Síochána & United Nations) - We, Catherine, Helen, Danny, John, and Christine, together with our families, wish to thank all who supported us on our father's passing. Dan left this life on New Year's Day 2018. He would want us to say Thank You to: his many lifelong friends and colleagues in An Garda Síochána and the United Nations; his GP Marguerite Doyle; Mr Stephen Sheehan, Vascular Surgeon; all the doctors, nurses and medical teams who tended to Dan in his last years; The Dalkey Community Unit for Older Persons; Fr Frank Heron PP Foxrock; all who attended the house and funeral services; all who offered Masses and messages of support; the lovely people of Cavan and Wexford; a wide circle of relatives, neighbours and friends at home and abroad. Dan leaves a legacy of love, courage and the greatest sense of humour. Reunited with his beloved Kay. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept our grateful thanks for your tribute to a remarkable man. As we approach his First Anniversary, the family of an ex-Cavan footballer say thank you. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
