SWEENEY, Bertie (Albert) (Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin and formerly Quigabar, Co. Sligo) - February 6, 2016 (peacefully) at the Blackrock Hospice after a short illness. Beloved husband of the late Sheila and brother of the late Vincent. Loving father of Colette, Anne, Brendan and Vincent, adored grandfather of Brendan, Rachel, Conor, Fiona, John, Eimear, Ciarán, Aoibhe and Anna. Deeply regretted by his brothers and sisters Joe, Michael, Sr. Kathleen, Tom, Eamon, Marion and Gerald, sons-in-law Kevin and T.J., daughter-in-law Olive, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum today (Monday) from 3 o'c to 5 o'clock Removal tomorrow (Tuesday) morning to the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion for 10 o'c funeral Mass and burial afterwards in Deans Grange Cemetery.
