AUSTEN - Arthur Henry (Deansgrange and formerly Blackrock Co. Dublin) May 8, 2026. It is with great sadness we announce the death of our beloved Arthur aged 93 years; peacefully with his family in the kind care of the Blackrock Hospice. Predeceased by his wife Noreen and siblings Stanley, Hazel and Geoffrey. Dearly loved and adored husband of Maureen (Mo) for 34 years and his children Peter, Gillian, Michelle and Kelly and stepsons Leo and Stuart. Gramps and grandad to his 13 cherished grandchildren Jake, Sophie, Hollie, Anna, Jack, Charlie, Harry, Ryanne, Sam, Hannah, Kyran, Ryan and Kian. He will sadly missed and fondly remembered by sons-in-law Alan, Mark and Simon, daughters-in-law Armida, Catherine and Pippa, nephews, neighbours and his many friends especially those in the Stedfast Band. Funeral Service on Thursday (May 14) at 11am in Kill O the Grange Church (of I), Deansgrange followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harolds Cross. For those who cannot attend, the Service can be viewed online using the link from RIP.

We would like to thank Prof. Ken McDonald and his team at the H.F.U., St. Michaels Hospital for the wonderful care Arthur received over the past 11 years and lately the care he received from the Palliative Care Team at the Blackrock Hospice.
